Dr. Boudreau earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and also holds a master’s degree in school psychology. Her practice focuses on treatment for a variety of childhood and teen concerns, such as anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, repetitive behaviours (e.g., tics, hair pulling), feeding issues (e.g., picky eating in preschoolers), mild to moderate behavioural concerns/non-compliance and mental health difficulties in autism spectrum disorders.

Dr. Boudreau uses treatment approaches shown to be effective through research. She offers primarily cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), as well as other behavioural approaches such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), including strategies based on Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).  She also provides Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention for Tics (CBIT) to individuals with Tourette Syndrome and other tic disorders. She loves to work with parents and children to help make lasting changes. Dr. Boudreau’s warm and friendly style puts families at ease in working towards achievable goals. She believes that drawing on children and teens’ strengths and interests is the best way to learn new skills!

In addition to her work at Cornerstone, Dr. Boudreau is a staff psychologist in the OCD Clinic at BC Children’s Hospital. In this role, she provides assessment and group treatment to youth with OCD and their families. Dr. Boudreau also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the Neuropsychiatry and ADHD Clinics at BC Children’s Hospital. She is registered with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (Registrant #2354).
